40 years

40, Fabulous and Still Growing Strong!

2018 is our 40th anniversary, and we are so excited to share our celebrations with you.

We've got all kinds of plans. We kicked off the year with a remodeled shop, and there's much more to come. We'll keep a rolling monthly calendar of events here for you:

Friday, June 22nd -

  • Tina Cook's Chef on the Run food truck will be here serving fresh, local, made-to-order food for lunch and through the afternoon.
 

Saturday, June 23rd -

  • Tina Cook's Chef on the Run food truck will be here serving fresh, local, made-to-order food for lunch and through the afternoon.
  • 1-4pm: Phil Clement's band Paper Moon will play live music.
  • 1.30pm: Fresh Ella's ice cream truck will arrive
  • 2pm: Ray Defeo from Pride's Corner Farms will round off National Pollinator Week with a talk about how to look after our precious pollinating friends and how keeping native plants in your garden can help - including American Beauties native plants sold right here.
 
Sunday, June 24th -
 
  • Tina Cook's Chef on the Run food truck will be here serving fresh, local, made-to-order food for lunch and through the afternoon.
  • 2pm: Melanie Scofield of Earthwalk School of Herbal Traditions will give a talk on native medicinal plants, their uses and how to care for them. 
  • Noon-3pm: Phil Clement's band Paper Moon will play live music.

7pm, Rockport Opera House: Dough Tallamy, Professor of Entomoloy and author of Bringing Nature Home, will give a talk on the multiplying benefits of planting native plants in your garden. Brought to you by the Knox-Lincoln Soil & Water Conservation District (KLSWCD) and sponsored by Plants Unlimited.
